With hearts shattered beyond words, we announce the unexpected passing of our precious baby girl, Lillie Ann Nicole Toms, who gained her angel wings on October 27, 2026, at just 7 weeks old.
Born on September 9, 2026, Lillie was a beautiful blessing whose arrival brought immeasurable love, happiness, and joy to her family. Though her time here on earth was heartbreakingly short, the love she brought into this world will last forever.
Lillie was the sweetest little girl, with beautiful, big blue eyes . She had the most adorable little pout that appeared just before she cried, a precious expression her family will never forget. She loved nothing more than being close to her mama, finding comfort, warmth, and love in her arms.
In the days before her passing, Lillie had just begun sharing her beautiful smiles with those who loved her. One of her mama's most treasured memories will forever be the sweet, cooing little laugh Lillie made as she was showered with kisses on her chubby cheeks. Such a small moment in time, yet one that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Lillie was a cherished daughter, a beloved baby sister, and a precious granddaughter, niece, and cousin. She was surrounded by a family who adored her and whose lives have been forever changed by the blessing of knowing and loving her.
She leaves behind her loving parents, Sarah Bland-Bender and Brandon Toms; her four brothers, Christopher, Thomas, Shane, and Weston; her paternal grandparents, Mary and Robert Toms Jr.; and her loving aunts and uncles, Nicole Demambro, Kelly Bender, Alan Bender, Jessica Toms, Robert Toms III (Madison), James Tyeryar (Danielle), and Steven Stone (Diane), along with her many loving cousins and extended family.
Lillie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Anne Bland, who passed away January 23, 2026; her maternal grandfather, Thomas A. Bender, ; her maternal uncle, Thomas C. Bender, ; and her paternal great-grandfather, Robert Eugene Toms Sr.
Although her family would have given anything for more time, Lillie's 7 weeks were filled with a lifetime's worth of love. She may never have taken her first steps or spoken her first words, but she left footprints on the hearts of everyone who loved her that will never fade.
There will forever be an empty place in her family's arms, but never in their hearts. Her beautiful blue eyes, her tiny pout, her first precious smiles, and the feeling of holding her close will be treasured always.
Lillie Ann Nicole Toms was here for only a moment, but she will be loved for all of eternity.
Fly high, sweet Lillie. Until we can hold you in our arms again, we will carry you in our hearts, in every moment, every memory, and every breath we take.
Forever 7 weeks old. Forever our little girl. Forever loved.
The family will recieve freinds on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 West Main Street, Emmitsburg, Maryland 21727
