Linda Golembieski, 75, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on August 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 28, 1951, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Edward K. Killen and Ollie Marie Bolding.
A devoted homemaker, Linda poured her heart into her faith, her family, and her community. She deeply cherished her Church and loved serving in the nursery at Lighthouse Baptist Church, where she treated every child as if they were her own. Linda also possessed a passion for gardening, dedicating hundreds of hours to designing and tending to flower beds throughout the Gettysburg square and at the Gettysburg Fire Department. Over the years, she was an active member of the Gettysburg Garden Club, the American Iris Society, the American Rhododendron Society, and the Azalea Society of America.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Frank; her son Frank III and his wife, Melissa; and her son Fred Mumpert of St. Joseph, Michigan.
In keeping with her gentle nature and quiet dignity, private arrangements are being held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s honor to the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF).
