Loretta Oakley White, 66, of Taneytown, MD, died September 4, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center, in Westminster. Born May 4, 1959, in Capital Heights, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Frank Oakley and Mary Stowe Oakley. She was the devoted wife of Mark J. White.
Loretta loved children and was a daycare teacher for 37 years. She was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed tending to her various plants.
Surviving in addition to her husband are siblings, Gordon Oakley, and Carol McCargish; sister-in-law, Melissa Spiro; nieces, Sarah McCargish, and Donna Spiro; and nephew, Isaac McCargish.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Loretta will be held 2:30PM Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Gates of Praise, 226 Kingsdale Road, Littlestown, PA 17340.
