Margaret Virginia Glowacki, 87, of Westminster, MD, passed away on August 25th, 2026 at Lorien Nursing Home, Taneytown. Born in Baltimore, MD on March 16, 1939 to the late Margaret Virginia and late Adam Bloom, she was the loving wife of the late Donald Glowacki; devoted mother of Charles Glowacki of Largo, FL, John Glowacki of Hanover, PA, Ann Glowacki of Westminster, MD, William Golwacki of Hampstead, MD, and Matthew Glowacki of Westminster, MD; and cherished grandmother of 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.
After graduating from Eastern High School, Baltimore in 1957, Margaret became a drafter for the Bell phone company, then for a small private company, Michael Baker, Jr. After the birth of her first son, Charles, she became a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Some of her hobbies included gardening, reading, drawing, sketching, painting, singing hymns, as well as sewing, embroidering, knitting, quilting, stained glass. These latter hobbies she would contribute to volunteering at Westminster Senior Center, making quilts for Project Linus and becoming one of the leaders of the stained-glass group.
