Marie M. Ohler

On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Marie Margaret Ohler (Sanders) passed away peacefully at the Shippensburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Shippensburg, PA. Born on July 4, 1941, in Emmitsburg, MD she was the daughter of the late Regis and Nadine Sanders. Marie was the wife of the late Charles “Sonny” R. Ohler.

Marie was an avid gardener who enjoyed planting and working in her garden and was best known for her love of baking.

She is survived by her son, Paul Hann, Sr. and wife Stacy; stepdaughter, Wanda Manahan and husband Robert; sisters, Kathleen Lawson and husband Mike, Bonnie Rexroth and husband Walter; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by daughters, Carol “Susie” Hann and Sharon Hann, son Timothy “Timmie” Hann and stepson, Michael Ohler, her siblings Sterling Sanders, Harold Sanders and Roland Sanders.

The family will receive friends Thursday November 5, 2026, from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A. 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown (21787). A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor David Meador officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
