It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Laverne Lewis on December 11, 2025, at the age of 63. Martha was born to the late Henry and Helen Hohrein and raised in Maryland with her brothers, the late John and Eugene.
She spent 26 dedicated years at Walmart, where she was known for her work ethic, kindness, and commitment to others. She loved her chihuahua, Poncho and her cat Bella and enjoyed the antics of Scooby-Doo. Martha lived a life marked by compassion, strength, and deep devotion to her beloved husband, Skip Lewis, who passed in 2019.
A memorial service to honor Martha’s life will be held on January 10, 2026, 11:00 AM, at Westminster Baptist Church, 354 Crest Ln, Westminster MD 21157.
