Mary Isabel Bouey

Mary Isabel Bouey, 88, of Keymar, MD, died peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Northampton Manor Nursing Center in Frederick.  Born March 24, 1932 in Emmitsburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Blanche Bouey.  She was the long-time companion of Richard “Dick” Herrick of Keymar.

Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Emmitsburg.  She worked as a server in the dining hall at St. Joseph’s Place in Emmitsburg.  She enjoyed cleaning her house and creating artificial flower arrangements.

She is survived by her companion, Richard, some extended family members, many friends, and several former co-workers.  She was predeceased by all of her siblings.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services are private.  Burial will be at New St. Joseph Cemetery in Emmitsburg.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Emmitsburg.
