On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Mary Helen (Stull) Haines, wife of the late Charles Kenneth Haines and mother of three children, passed away after a brief illness at the age of 95.
Mary was born on June 22, 1930, in Howard County, Maryland to the late Gary Sr. and Addie (Watkins) Stull. Mary and Ken raised one son, Charles Michael Haines, and two daughters, Sharon Lee (Haines) Robinson and Bonnie Lynn (Haines) McAvoy.
Mary loved gardening, cleaning and cooking. Her coconut cream pie was her most requested item. She was also known for her feisty spirit and sense of humor. She was an employee of Weis Market in Westminster before retirement.
She was one of nine children and was often involved with her family. Mary is survived by her sister; Miriam Shipley. She is predeceased by her brothers; Gary Jr. Charles, Stanley and George and three sisters, Eloise McQuay, Dorothy Long and Lois Ford. She is also predeceased by her husband, Charles Kenneth Haines, granddaughter; Jessica Robinson and grandson; Nathanael Haines.
She is survived by her three children and four grandchildren; Brian Robinson, Camrell Bly-Haines, Chantell DeAngelo, and Ashley Rausch, great grandchildren; Ophelia Rausch, Evan Robinson, Delilah DeAngelo
A viewing will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home 91 Willis Street, Westminster, Maryland. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Union Bridge.
