Mary Frances Selby

On Monday April 14th, 2025 Mary Frances Selby passed away peacefully at her home in East Berlin, PA. Born on April 19, 1940, in Taneytown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Helen Eyler (nee Krug).

Mary worked as a Parts Manager for Evapco for many years. She loved reading her books, going to the beach, playing Solitaire, cooking for her family, and doing word finds. She especially loved to watch true crime, Murder She Wrote, and Magnum P.I. She took trips with her group of friends from Evapco and they called themselves “the Has Beens.”

She is survived by her children Steven Selby, Allen Selby, Melissa Davis, Timothy Selby, and Kristen Selby; grandchildren Jessica Selby, Autumn Tripp, Noah Selby, Paxton Selby, Summer Selby, Brittany Davis, Chad Davis, Cody Selby, Ravin Rickabaugh, Hunter Lacks, Alexis Lacks, Brian Selby, C.J. Miller, Matt Miller, Danielle Selby and Terisha Selby; great grandchildren Jamison and Torin Nolan, Kennedy and Kyler Tripp, Isaiah and Kristina King, Karson and Karrisa Wall, Jayden, Colby, Colton, and Christian Davis, Emma and Ava Selby, Wyatt, Caroline, Harlee Rickabaugh, and Jameson Selby; brother Arthur Eyler.

She is predeceased by her son Anthony Selby, sister Shirley Gouge, and great grandson Conner Davis.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday April 22nd, 2025 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 136 E. Main Street Taneytown (21787) for a Memorial Gathering from 11-12pm. A Memorial Service will begin at 12pm with Reverend Dave L. Meador officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
