Minnie Viola Duble, 88, of Keymar died peacefully Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. Born April 20, 1933, in Tyrone, she was the daughter of the late Charley Dennis Smith and Mabel Savannah (Baker) Smith.
Minnie was the secretary and treasurer of Key Cabinet Shop in Keymar. She was past secretary and treasurer of Keysville U.C.C., a member of the Eastern Star #41 Plymouth in Union Bridge, and Homewood Auxiliary in Frederick. She treasured time spent with her family.
She is survived by grandsons, Michael Christopher Duble and wife Jackie of Gettysburg, Matthew Christopher Duble-Dice and wife Lindsey of Clarksburg; brothers Sterling Smith and Charles Smith both of Keymar; sisters Bertha Williams of Taneytown and Emma Reddick of Union Bridge; great-grandsons Jaxson and Devon Duble, and a great-granddaughter Eloise Duble-Dice. She was predeceased by a brother, James Smith. Her son Michael William Duble passed on January 7, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M., on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown, 136 E. Baltimore Street. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 10 A.M. until the time of service. Inurnment will follow at Keysville Union Cemetery.
