Pauline Bernice Bridges

Pauline Bernice Bridges, 81, of Union Bridge, MD, crossed through heaven's gate December 28, 2025, at her home. Born February 3, 1944, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Faye (Laningham) Ridings. Pauline was the devoted wife of Conard Lee Bridges since March 16, 1962, giving them 63 wonderful years together.

Pauline worked until retirement as a presser at Hartz & Co. men’s suit manufacturer. She spent a great deal of her time babysitting children, including all of her own grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Conard; children, Randy Lee Bridges and wife Barbara of Taneytown, and Tammy Kemper-Miller of Union Bridge; grandchildren, Daniel and wife Leslie, Tyler and wife Stephanie, Joshua and wife Katie, Natalia and husband Brandon, and Devon Miller; great-grandchildren, Annmarie, Axel, Peyton, Koe, Maddox, Cameron, Scarlett, Catie, Atlas, Lily, Kenzie, and one on the way; and sisters, Janice Scott, and Ginny Ebright. Pauline was predeceased by granddaughter, Samantha Kemper; siblings, Jerry Redman, Jim Ridings, and Sue Miser; and aunt, Grace Clapsaddle.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
