Robert "Bob" Smith

Robert George “Bob” Smith, age 60, of Westminster, passed away at the home of his sister on September 5, 2024, after a brief illness. Born September 25, 1963, in Carroll County he was the son of the late Floyd and Virginia Smith, Sr.

Bob was surrounded with an outpouring of love from family and friends during the course of his illness. He enjoyed the simpler things in life, cars, music, fishing, racing, sports and spending time with his many friends. He was a member of the Time Release Car Club. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his son, Robert “Dale” Smith; brothers, Floyd E. Smith and wife Maryanne, Lloyd F. Smith and companion Debra Baker, Walter S.  Smith and companion Sue Lee; sisters, Audrey A.  Blickenstaff and husband Frank, Vivian E. Smith-Tallan and husband Robert; many nieces and nephews and his former wife Dawn Ernst Smith.

He was predeceased by his brothers, John S. Smith and Russell C. Smith.
