Ronald "Ron" E. Dailey, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on September 19th, 2024 in Emmitsburg, Maryland at the age of 68. He was born on October 18th, 1955 in Vermont to loving parents who instilled in him a strong work ethic and deep sense of family values. Ron leaves behind his devoted wife Marion Dailey with whom he shared an unbreakable bond for 46 years. Together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew them.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Piar; granddaughters, Alexis Taylor and husband Marc Raimondi, and Katelyn Cooper and Fiancee Jacob Dubon; grandson, Trey Cooper; great-granddaughter, Amelia Cooper; granddaughters, Stephanie Piar, and Amanda Piar; daughter, Sharon Sinden and husband Michael Sinden; grandchildren, Christopher Godwin, and Bethany Sinden; great-grandchildren, Weston Godwin, and Wyatt Godwin; and son, Ronald Dailey Jr.
Throughout his life, Ron had a passion for horses which brought him immense joy. His love extended beyond animals to include Angel - his beloved dog - who provided constant companionship through both good times and bad. One of Ron's greatest sources of pride was undoubtedly his role as a grandfather to many adoring grandchildren, including Alexis, Katelyn, Trey, Stephanie, Amanda, Christopher, Bethany, Amelia, Weston & Wyatt, all of whom held special places in their Grandaddy's heart. The impact that Ron had on those around him cannot be overstated. He was known for being kind-hearted with an infectious laugh that could light up any room he entered. His wisdom was sought after by many because it came from a place of genuine care for others. The loss of such an incredible man has left an irreplaceable void within the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known him during this lifetime, but we can take solace knowing that he is now watching over us from above alongside other loved ones who have gone before him.
