Ruth Ann Hennick

Ruth Ann Hennick, 66, of Taneytown, MD, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Born February 2, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Lois Roese. Ruth was the devoted wife of David Hennick for 40 years.

Ruth worked as a nursing aid and later in life worked as a teacher for daycare children. She was a faithful bible Christian and a member of the Church of the Open Door in Westminster, MD. She loved to cook and crochet for her family, making beautiful blankets and clothes.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband, David; daughter, Rose Ocheing; 3 grandchildren and many family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

The family will receive friends for a memorial service Saturday, August 22, 2026, 11 am at The Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster, MD 21157.
