Sandra Leigh "Sandy" Larkins

Sandra Leigh Larkins, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully into the Lord’s embrace on March 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Sandra’s home was a sanctuary, always filled with the comforting aroma of her freshly baked treats and the warmth of her welcoming spirit. She devoted her life to caring for others. Beginning as a nurse, she left her career to care for her daughters and later her grandchildren. Her strength and gentle kindness touched all who knew her and her legacy continues through the love of her family and friends.

She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory. Her devoted husband of 60 years, Clifford Larkins, Jr.; daughters, Michele Schraffenberger and her husband Brent, Regina Presley and her husband Tracey; cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Andrew and Sarah Mann, Sarah and Sam DeGrave, Abigayle and Nate Betts, Hannah Presley, Nicholas Fish, Nicole and Adam LeBuff, Brent Lee Schraffenberger Jr. She leaves behind 8 loving great grandchildren; MacKenzie, Avery, Camyrn, Olivia, Luke, Levi, Larkin, Hudson and another on the way.

Sandra was predeceased by her cherished parents, William and Ethel Dowdy, and her dear sister, Doris Maxey. Their memories live on in the stories she shared and the love she carried.

Sandra’s vibrant spirit, unwavering faith, courage as a breast cancer survivor, and love for her family will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed, but her presence will remain in the hearts and memories of all who were blessed to know her.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday April 3, 2026 from 10-11am at Krug Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am with Reverend Charlie Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Sandy Mount United Methodist Church Cemetery in Finksburg.
