Sharon E. Griest, 69, of Westminster, Maryland, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Carroll Hospital Center.
Born April 26, 1948 in Tazwell, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sallie Sizemore. She was predeceased by her husband Alan John Griest in 1994.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and music.
Surviving her are daughters, Sally R. Judge and husband Stephen and Phyllis S. Roberts both of Westminster; grandchildren, Steven Westerfer and Nathan Judge; siblings, Dorothy Hughart of LA, Loretta Powers and Larry Powers both of Baltimore; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sister, Carolyn Johnson and by brother, Johnny Sizemore.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster with John C. Morrill as funeral celebrant. Burial will be private.
