Thomas Francis "Tom" Signiski

Thomas Francis Signiski, 83, died October 23, 2025, at Brightview Westminster Ridge in Westminster, MD. Born January 26, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Michael A. Signiski and Margaret R. Signiski née Flitcraft. He was the devoted husband of the late Ann Marie Signiski, his beloved wife of 60 years.

Tom was a happy person with a sunny disposition which made him easy to love. He had a strong, dry sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. An electrical engineer, he used his analytical mind in volunteering to complete others’ taxes just for fun, and solving Sudoku and crossword puzzles in ink. He loved to spend time with Ann and together they traveled the world, enjoyed all kinds of dancing (even founding a square dance club while stationed in England), and explored the craft beer scene wherever they found themselves. He was the kind of person others are drawn to. He never met a stranger, and was the life of every party.

He is survived by his loving family, including four daughters--Lisa Signiski and her husband Thomas Kasuba; Susan Signiski Neubert and her husband John Neubert; Dianne Signiski Garrett and her husband Daniel Garrett; Sarah Signiski and her husband Bryan Claxton; eight grandchildren; sister Margaret M. Surran; and brother David J. Signiski. In addition to his wife, he is predeceased by brothers Michael M. Signiski and George A. Signiski.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21136. A visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m., immediately before the Mass. Interment will be private. Funeral services provided by MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
