William Arthur Desautels, Sr

William Arthur Desautels, Sr, 87, of Westminster passed away peacefully at the Gardens of Gettysburg Nursing Home. Born Friday, June 3, 1938 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Theodore Desautels and Marian Desautels, nee LaBounty. Beloved husband of Barbara A. Desautels, nee Cavin; Loving father of Bill Desautels, Mike Desautels and his wife Patty, Kenny Desautels and his wife Stephanie, and Michele Wivell; cherished grandfather of 12 and great grandfather 18; he was last of his five siblings.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his 3 sons John, Chip and Dana.

Mr. Desautels was a member of Local 1 and worked as a Drywall Mechanic. He attended Poly Technical High and Baltimore Community College. In his spare time, he enjoyed participating in Sporting Clays in Carlisle, PA and Steeltown, PA.
