Carl Eugene Ebaugh

Carl Eugene Ebaugh, 79, of Taneytown, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. Born October 14, 1943, he was the son of the late Paul E. Ebaugh and Thelma R. Ebaugh, nee Long. He was the loving husband to Barbara Ann Ebaugh, nee Motter.

He was in the United States Army. After the Army, he became a salesman for Crouse Ford and Wantz Chevrolet for 25 years. He was a past President for Terra Rubra Lions Club in Keymar, a past Town Councilman for the City of Taneytown, and he was a member of the Taneytown American Legion. He was also a past President of the Taneytown Heritage & Museum Association. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Kurt Ebaugh and wife Shannon of Lansing, KS, Heike Mills and husband Todd of Morgantown, WV; grandchildren, Gibson Ebaugh, Jurek Mills, and Nathaniel Mills; and great-grandchild, Elliott Mills.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 136 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the funeral home, with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Keysville Union Cemetery.
