Charles Stephen Coffman

     Charles “Steve” Coffman, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born August 17, 1941, Steve was the son of the late Robert Coffman and Ella Warfield Coffman. He was the loving husband of Joan Coffman, to whom he was married 51 years.

     Steve worked as a truck driver, who also loved to work on vehicles in his spare time. He liked to ‘piddle around’ and play on his phone. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

     Surviving in addition to his wife, are daughters Candy Sams and husband, Kevin, of Tennessee, Kelly Sutherland of Gettysburg, PA, Bonnie Lynn Haines of Reisterstown, Bonnie Sue Coffman, of Westminster; sisters Karen Knotek of Florida, and Audrey Micken of Virginia; brothers, David Coffman of Florida, and Wayne Coffman of Maryland; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Pamela Edwards, and son John Layton.

     Services are private.
