Obituary

David Norman Beard, age 51, passed away at home in Westminster on September 3rd. He is survived by his wife, Denise (Yehnert), and beloved children, Josiyah, Eley, and Zeke, as well as father, Ed Beard, sister Sandy (Garry Raim), and sister-in-law, Lynn Beard. In addition, he is sorely missed by loving nieces and nephews: Miriam, Sam, Belle, Sophie, and Nate. David is pre-deceased by mother, Bette, and brother, Dwayne.

David was a talented chef, with a degree from Baltimore International Culinary College, and nearly 20 years employ with the exceptional team of professionals at Atwater’s. He was an ardent Ravens fan, and in-season loved nothing more than watching games and playing football with his kids. Off-season, he lived to share his passion for all-things Star Wars, 4-wheeling, and country life with them. David was a man of deep faith, and a farmboy at heart. He cherished family, those dearest to him being his beautiful children.

Private services were held on September 14th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church Welfare Fund. Give by mail, or online at www.wsda.church/giving. Select “Welfare” under “Local Offerings”.
