Gary Grant Brown

     Gary Grant Brown, 80, of Westminster passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Long View Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Manchester. He was born July 20, 1941, in Carroll County to the late Ulysses Grant Brown and Jane Haines Brown Owings.

     A lifelong Carroll County resident, he was closely involved with the Todd and Sheri Shields family of Silver Run. He is also survived by his half-siblings, Vanessa Frock and husband David, Daniel Owings and wife Karen, and David Owings and wife Lucy, all of Westminster. Additionally, he is survived by many cousins and other family members. 

    He was active for many years at West End Place in Westminster. Since his experiences there were an important part of his life, the family suggests in lieu of flowers, for memorial contributions to be made in his name to West End Place, 7 School House Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157

     The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 17, 2021, from 6:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 pm at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD (21157). Interment will be private.
