George Weller

          George Spencer Weller, 79, of Union Bridge, MD, died peacefully at his home on Monday, February 24, 2020.  Born September 26, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Spencer and Lillian (Kline) Weller.  He was the devoted husband of Mary Lynn (Jones) Weller, to whom he was married for 31 years.

          George was a construction project manager for Sears for 42 years, overseeing the construction of new stores all up and down the East coast.  He also worked for a few years at F&F Construction in Fulton, MD.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.  He loved his dog Lizzie, who recently passed, and his three cats.

          Surviving, in addition to his wife Mary Lynn, are children, Donna Weber and husband Rob of Croydon, Pa, Karen Wong and Nancy Lewis of Trevose, PA, and James Weller of Philadelphia, PA; step-children, Lauren Airing and husband Rich of Taneytown and Heather Walters and husband Matt of Union Bridge; sister, Delores Wunder of Hatboro, PA; grandchildren, Sean, Jimmy Jr., Kelsey, Colin, Matthew and Daniel; step-grandchildren, Trey, Alexis, Anthony and Kirstyn; and 3 nephews.  He was predeceased by son, Thomas Weller and grandson, Nicholas Roccia.

          Services are private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
