Helen Ruth Graybill

     Helen “Ruth” Graybill, age 73, of Taneytown, died Thursday, September 1, 2022 at York Hospital. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Alberta (Gernert) Graybill.     

     Ruth was a 1971 graduate of Frostburg College. She enjoyed reading, teaching, and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. She fulfilled that passion by living a life of service as a missionary in the Philippines for over 35 years, working with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

     Surviving are a sister, Shirley Bell of Middletown; brother, Glenn Graybill of Taneytown; sister-in-law Betty Graybill of Taneytown; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Harry, Larry, Dennis and Allen Graybill.

     The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2-4p.m and 6-8p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME P.A., 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11a.m. at the funeral home.
