Obituary

Jeffrey Lynn Wierman, 69, of Emmitsburg, died on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Born August 16, 1953, he was the son of the late Leroy Wierman and Betty Eiker.

He worked as a pressman most of his adult life. He was an avid golfer, loved the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. He was a member of the American Legion Post 239, the Waynesboro Eagles Club, Inc., and Waynesboro Owls Club, Inc.

Surviving is son, Bryan Wierman of Hampstead; granddaughter Rachael Wierman; sisters, Shirley Freshman and Carolyn Lewis, both of Emmitsburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be missed greatly by his loving significant other, Lori McDonald; good friends Dale and Wanda Valentine and Diana Lewis.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Ronald Wierman.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 210 W. Main Street, Emmitsburg, Maryland 21727. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeffrey’s name to the American Legion Post 239, the Waynesboro Eagles Club, Inc., or the Waynesboro Owls Club, Inc.
