Obituary
On Friday October 21, 2022, Joyce Eileen Dell (nee Putman) passed away in Ranson, West Virginia. She was the wife of Carroll Richard Dell for 65 years. Born in Taneytown, MD, on February 26, 1939, Joyce was predeceased by her parents Aaron Franklin Putman and Ruth Putman (nee Foust).
Joyce is survived by her children Pamela Joyce Dell of Boise, Idaho, Bruce Richard Dell and fiancé Kathy Blye of West Virginia. She was predeceased by her son Glenn Carroll Dell. She is also survived by her sister Jeannie Creech of Dallastown, PA, and predeceased by her brother James Putman. She is survived by her grandsons: Dustin and Nikki Dell, Darren Dell of West Virginia, and Jared and Kayla Campbell of Colorado; and great grandchildren Alexa, Trey, Eli, Barrett and Caden.
Family will receive friends at Myers Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A. 136 East Baltimore Street Taneytown, MD 21787 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday November 4, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday November 5, 2022 at Piney Creek Church of the Brethren 4699 Teeter Road Taneytown, MD 21787. Pastor Stan Diehl will be presiding for the service. Interment will be at Meadow Branch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Piney Creek Church of the Brethren.
