Kathryn Gail Friery, 73, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 at her home.

Born January 22, 1947 in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annace (Kovacavick) Stansny. She was the wife of 49 years to Carl Brittin Friery.

Kathryn had completed her B.S. in Nursing and was a licensed practical nurse for 35 years with various healthcare facilities. She enjoyed attending and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and always maintained a positive and happy outlook on life. She loved her grand babies very much and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving in addition to her husband Carl are daughter, Cara Maronek of Westminster; son, Michael Friery of Longmont, CO; grandsons, Kade and Jace Maronek and Kenyon Fulcher; sister, Charisse Walls and husband Chris of Arizona.

Kathryn’s wishes were to be cremated with no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.
