Larry Crowl, Jr.

Larry William Crowl, Jr., 43, of Severn, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 21, 2021. 

Born November 11, 1977 in Baltimore, Larry was the son of the late Mary Frances Hallman and Larry William Crowl, Sr. and wife Amy Funk-Crowl of Taneytown, MD.  He was the loving husband of Shawanda Sharntees Crowl.

Larry was self-employed in the construction field.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and took an interest in drawing and tattoo artistry. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cracking jokes and making others laugh.  Larry was also an avid fan of the NFL Raiders.

Also survived are his sons Cameron, Malachi, Kaleb and Mayson; daughter Arianna; step-daughters Destiny and Ki’Psalm; brother Lee Crowl; sister Megan Crowl-Humple; step-sister Tammy Funk-Geiman; step-mother Donna Hoff and husband John Brenner; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerry and Ella Green; paternal grandmother Blanche Crowl; aunt Beverly Stanley, uncles Randy Crowl, Terry Crowl and Gary Hallman; brother-in-law Dewayne Smith; sister-in-law Kimberly Parker and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Larry was predeceased by paternal grandfather Charles Crowl and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hallman.

Larry was a loving person and a friend to many. He will be missed greatly. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 18th from 2pm to 6pm.at Big Pipe Creek Park, 3939 Old Taneytown Road, Taneytown, MD 21787.
