Marie Snyder

Marie Mabel Snyder, 91, of Owings Mills, MD died from natural causes on January 30, 2018 at her residence.  Born March 17, 1926 in Union Mills, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Adelaide (Miller) Snyder.

Marie was a life-long member of St. Mary’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Silver Run, MD.  She completed Junior High School at Charles Carroll School where she won an award for being the best seamstress in the class and was representative to the student council for Carroll County.  She was a graduate of Westminster High School, class of 1943.

During her working career, she was employed with several CPA firms.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the accountant for Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Baltimore.  Marie is survived by several cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Silver Run with her former pastor, the Rev. Dr. H. Lee Brumback II, officiating.  There will be no public visitation. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Taneytown.
