Obituary

Regina Mae Fincham, age 85 of Keymar, MD, died at her home on Thursday, November 10 2022. She was the foster daughter of the late Harry and Ethel Eyre.

She was the loving wife of the late Herbert E. Fincham who passed in 2010.

Jeannie was deeply religious and loved her church. She was a generous and good-hearted person.  She liked organizing, cleaning, gardening and yard work, her family was hard pressed to keep her off her zero-turn mower at 85. She was an amazing cook and baker, making everything from scratch. She also enjoyed canning. She maintained her wonderful sense of humor even when she wasn’t well.

Jeannie is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Jean Fincham of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Dawn Joyce Fincham of Gettysburg, PA; sons, Ernest Herbert Fincham, and Brian Keith Fincham of Taneytown, MD; grandchildren, Amber, Lindsay, Tyler, Anne and Jesse Fincham; great- granddaughter, Arianna Palmer; companion, Bobby Unverzact; special friends Carolyn Partridge and Rachel, and many other long-term friends.  Besides her husband, Herbert, she is predeceased by her son Joseph Howard Fincham.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Messiah United Methodist Church, 25 Middle St., Taneytown MD, with Rev. Baker officiating.
