Shirley Megee Obituary

Shirley Marlene Megee, 77, of Fairfield, PA passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital. Born September 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. Stottlemyer and Nellie G. (Wetzel) Stottlemyer. She was the predeceased by her husband Gary Allen Megee, to whom she was married for 45 years.

Marlene helped with her husband’s business, Wash Away, Inc. and worked at R. R Donnelley in Thurmont Md for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren that lived next door and walking her dog, Lady.

She is survived by her son, Jason Megee and his wife Heather of Fairfield; son, Robert Leatherman of Delaware; brother Roger Stottlemyer of New Midway; sister Sarah Dodd of New Midway; niece, Sandy Eyler of Gettysburg; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by son, Douglas Leatherman.
