Wayne Hansen Obituary

Wayne Howard Hansen, 68, of Taneytown, died on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Paramount Senior Living in Fayetteville, PA. Born June 16, 1953 in Baltimore, he was the son of Jesse A Hansen, Sr. and the late Isabelle L (Northrup) Hansen.

Wayne began working for Black and Decker in Hampstead when he was 18. He later worked for Evapco in Taneytown as a laborer. He retired from Evapco in 2013. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. He loved making new friends and telling bad jokes.

Surviving, in addition to his father Jesse, are his brothers, Rudolph “Rudy” Hansen of Gettysburg, PA, Jesse Hansen Jr of Littlestown, PA and sister, Carol L. Garver of Taneytown.
