Janet Louise Martin, 73, of Westminster, MD, died peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.  Born December 24, 1943 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Brehm) Neudecker.  She was the devoted wife of Robert L. “Bob” Martin, to whom she was married for 50 years.

          Janet was a bookkeeper for The United Company in Westminster for several years.  She was a member of St. John’s Leisters Church.  She enjoyed going to Charles Town, working crossword puzzles, watching NASCAR racing, and collecting clown figurines and souvenir spoons.  She loved spending time with her family, and was always asked to bring her special potato salad to family get-togethers.

          Surviving, in addition to her husband Bob, are son, Robert S. Martin and wife Christina of Sykesville; daughter, Amy M. Fuhrman and boyfriend Tim Fick of Sykesville; and grandchildren, Alexander and Gina Martin.

          A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD, with Pastor Kristin Dubsky officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John’s Leisters Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the funeral home.
